Alex Procope to speak at OBA Elder Law Section Program


Alex Procope will be speaking at an upcoming Ontario Bar Association Elder Law Section professional development program. Alex joined in a symposium on Privacy and Consent in Congregate Care along with John Risk of WeirFoulds LLP, Mary Jane Dykeman of DDO Health Law, and Graham Webb, Executive-Director of the Advocacy Centre for the Elderly.

The Program is Congregate Care: Legal Issues Facing Residents, Families & Substitute Decision Makers and takes place on June 8, 2018. It will review the distinct legal regimes of retirement homes and long‐term care and some of the overlapping legal challenges for residents, families and staff in either.
